I am a trans woman and I stand in defiance of the needless censorship of my sexuality and self-expression in what was a safe space.

I defy needless censorship. I defy the suppression of self-expression. I defy the very idea that censorship of sexuality is not an atrocity.

One unique challenge was the effect exemplation magic would have on design. It’s not as obvious as it seems. For example, the boat has to be attached to the envelope by ordinary rope, to allow for shock-absorbing give, but none of the control surfaces would be connected by any physical parts, because those parts would only introduce unneeded friction and weight.

Also, drawing propellers (from the side) is hard, so I cheated.

I tweaked the portrait of Miles, trying his face a different way. I think I like this better, but I’m still not entirely happy with it. I compromised between full lips and having only a single line by outlining the full shape but in the skin stroke color, and pulled the outline off his eyes.

Also, I added a converse pulsebinding glyph, because why not. I couldn’t use my intended blending mode on a transparent image, and you can’t really see it against a white background, but it looks passable on a darker background.

Can some people who are actually properly androphilic tell me where this outfit design falls between “sexy” and “silly” on that spectrum?
